New Subject ! based on the previous model , evolving into a cherub.
Upgraded the overall model to make it look like a 2 years old toddler, stabilized the face features to Caucasian ( the base model seemed to me like a blend of several race features which did n´t lend anything to realism).
First attempt to add wings , this will e a major headache both in terms of rigging/modelling/texturing.
First attempts (not very succefull!) to model the hair
Comments welcome.

Rainbow Islands revisited
Never got to post this other project of mine, althou it made to the blender guru competition videogames (sort of!)
Basically a tribute to the game "Rainbow Islands" from Taito - my favorite when i was youngerish.
Beginning to loose will to continue on this one.
Besides being a copyrighted subject ,several problems keep arising :
- Rigging is the main concern particularly on the shoulder ( it seems to be a well known problem ) and hip/crotch despite using shape keys to correct the pose.Weight painting of vertices for rigging is difficult specially when i keep tweaking the look of model, put it all together and it is a major blow to the workflow.
Concept for the weapon, instead of throwing stars why don´t you just shoot them ? upper loading magazine.
Side view for running shoe , nothing fancy!
Made several improvements to the model, nevertheless i keep having problems as stated in the first image.
On the right is my first attempt to use the blender cloth simulator- i found it difficult, but then perhaps that is because it´s my first. Not much to see here
On the left added feet (!!) ; some more geometry on the shoulder/legs/hip/crotch (basically almost everywhere!) to allow for better rigging ; corrected some proportions ; first hair attempt.
For now i won´t be working much more on this, other subject came to mind , but who knows ? i might come back sooner than i think.
Cheers!
